When Christian Way Farm opened the gate of the farm to the public, our tours started near a burley tobacco barn, built by Guy Corley in the early 1940’s. The barn was structurally sound, but the doors had fallen into disrepair and it was just a barn with a dirt floor. But we had a plan.
So through the years, we have worked the plan.
In the early years, we covered the dirt with gravel.
And then we added a wooden floor.
And then some barn-wood doors and windows.
Some sheds off the sides
A front porch and some rockers….
And
A cash register, a telephone, a credit/debit card machine and a store full of inventory…..
And this nearly 70 year old barn is now a store…..
Open the old refrigerated case to find a soda in a glass bottle or a can, or a bottle of water.
Check out the variety of snacks—chips, crackers, candies, etc.

Our farm store has grown through the assistance of money from the Kentucky Department of Agriculture in exchange for our purchase of Kentucky produced products. We try to purchase locally. We hope you will too.
