Tour Information In the fall, we are open Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. You may bring your family during that time without an appointment. In the spring/summer, please contact us as we are often available but do not have regular Saturday hours. We are open from mid-April to late July, usually depending on the weather. Spring and Summer Tours: Spring and summer tours focus on our "favorite foods." The theme rotates from year to year as we look at all the plants and animals grown for a particular meal. We have emphasized hamburgers and French fries, pizza, and tacos. Visit the Spring/Summer link for details. Fall tours: Fall on the farm is harvest time. We are open during the week by appointment and to the general public on Saturdays, starting mid-September. We usually close by early November, but that is determined primarily by requests for scheduled tours on into November. Visit the Fall link for details. Families/Individuals: Many families call us looking for the opportunity to bring their children to the farm. We will work with you as best we can to let you blend in with a planned group so that your children get the full benefit of the tour experience. If that is not possible and we can accommodate your visiting with us at an appointed time during the week or on Saturdays we will be glad to. Since we are a fairly new family operation, we do not have established business hours in the spring or during the weekdays. However, we are home most of the time so we often can arrange for you to come help us get the chores done as we feed the animals and work in the garden! |
